| Joe Dallesandro has been in movies for over 30 years, has appeared in a few semi-famous and even notorious movies, but is still almost totally unknown to the general public. He has been an Andy Warhol superstar and has been directed by Louis Malle, Francis Ford Coppola and John Waters. He has worked with Candy Darling, Holly Woodlawn, Joey Heatherton, Andy Griffith, and Drew Barrymore. He has worked with Katharine Hepburn's niece and Rex Harrison's granddaughter. He has been on the cover of Rolling Stone and his crotch has been on the cover of an album by the Rolling Stones. Little Joe just goes on and on, his cult always growing and multiplying, his photographs selling for ridiculous sums of money on Internet auction sites. And still, the general public, whatever the hell that is, has never heard of this legendary guy. Let's keep it that way. He's special. |
