Salome Jens

We salute her not just because she was once married to Ralph Meeker, but because this fine actress has made numerous contributions to stage, screen and television in a career that extends all the way back to the 1950s. As far as we can tell (from IMDb) she made her film debut in 1958's Terror from the Year 5000 and has on numerous occasions returned to the sci-fi and fantasy genres. In the '80s she turned up as a humanoid on Star Trek: the Next Generation, and in the '90s she has visited Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and even paid a call on the humanoids over at Melrose Place. Despite such lofty peaks in a long and varied career, many of us would agree that Salome Jens had her greatest role opposite Rock Hudson in 1966's Seconds, directed by John Frankenheimer.
