Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter, in which Miss Onyx plays
Frankenstein's granddaughter (!!!!!).

Notes on The Loretta Young Show
-- This was a half-hour dramatic anthology series that ran on NBC from
1953 to 1961, with Loretta Young starring in more than half of the productions,
often in costume or character roles. The program is perhaps best remembered
for her Miss Young's lavish entrances at the beginning.
-- Mae Clarke's long career began with cabaret and stage appearances in
the 1920s. Her film career peaked in the 1930s, but she later made television
appearances and continued to turn up in minor parts in movies into the early
1970s. Undoubtedly her most important movie year was 1931, when she played
the female lead in Frankenstein, and also got a grapefruit shoved
in her face by James Cagney in The Public Enemy. She was once married
to Fannie Brice's brother.
-- This Alan Hale was actually Alan Hale, Jr., the look-a-like son of movie
character actor Alan Hale. Alan Jr. later played the "Skipper"

Notes on Route 66

O'Brien, Thinnes, Malone, Roman and Wood inherited the roles that had been
played on screen by Orson Welles, Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward, Angela Lansbury,

Episode: "Seek, Stalk & Destroy"
Cast: Van Williams, Bruce Lee
Guest Star: Ralph Meeker
Original airdate: January 6, 1967
Notes on Green Hornet
-- A fairly dreadful short-lived TV series that nevertheless has a cult
following. It was another superhero series from the producers of Batman.
The character had originated in a popular radio series of the same name
in 1936. Van Williams starred in the TV version as Britt Reid (aka The Green
Hornet), crusading editor/publisher of The Daily Sentinel. His trusted manservant
("Kato") was played by Bruce Lee -- yes, that Bruce Lee! The Series
ran on ABC during the 1966-67 season.

our Potpourri Lounge.

Episode: "The Ultimatum"

Notes on Tarzan
-- Ron Ely was supposedly the 14th actor to play Tarzan (however, we plan

The Supremes (!!!!!).

Notes on Lost Flight
-- This was a made-for-TV film.

us a peculiar look, and then signed it.
1970
NBC
Episode: "Experiment at New Life"
Cast: James Drury, Stewart Granger, Lee Majors, Doug
McClure
Guest Star: Ralph Meeker.
Notes on Men From Shiloh
--James Drury is another one we've actually met a couple of times, and we
are happy to report that he is very friendly and down-to-earth -- like the
Virginian. However, if you plan to shake hands with this guy, you need to
work out with weights for about a month beforehand.

Meeker, Chuck Connors, Harry Guardino
Notes on Police Story
-- This was the pilot film for the police anthology series that ran
